This is such an important question which most of us think about every time we are in the market for purchasing a car.  For some of us, it may not be such a big deal as they have tons of money to spend on cars. Should You Buy A New Car Or A Used One?

Based on our experience, following are the most important factors on the basis of which you could make a decision whether you should buy a new car or a used one.

Do you have enough money to purchase a brand new car

If the answer to the above question is yes, then, you should definitely go for a brand new car. If you can not spend so much money on purchasing a car. Then, it is OK to buy a used one as  it will equally do most of what you would want from a brand new car

Is it going to be your first car

If it is going to be your first car, in my opinion, you should buy a used car instead as you are not yet a professional driver.  You should drive extensively at least for a year or so before you can claim to be a good driver.

Do you have a good understanding of car engine, other important body parts

It may not always be the case. However, in many instances, owning a used car may be problematic for you if you or any of your trusted aquintance does not know how the car functions mechanically.  It is possible that you may end up buying a used car which has some serious problems in the engine or any other mechanical faults. In that case, you will be in a big trouble if you buy a used car. You should instead gofor a new one if you can afford one.

Do you Actually Need A Brand New Car

It might be a surprising comment for some of you. Being shrewd people who know what is good and what is bad for them, we need to make an informed decision about purchasing a car. We need to know whether we have some other more pressing needs to be met.  If that is the case, then, maybe, we should spend that same amount of money on those items instead. 

What Type of Vehicle You Are Going To Purchase?

If you decide to buy an old vehicle, you have to get a complete understanding of the age of the vehicle, its mechanical condition including its engine etc. If it is damaged a bit, you have to know how much will it cost to get it repaired.
